Don Valley Stadium is one of the leading Athletic Stadia in the UK. Offering a maximum capacity of 50,000 spectators, the stadium regularly hosts national and international athletic events, outdoor concerts, and TV programmes including the hit Channel 4 show “The Games”
The magnificent and unique architecture combines both modern amenities with the Olympic standard facilities making it an extremely versatile venue for exhibitions, conferences, product launches, meetings, banquets and team building events.
Don Valley Stadium’s facilities include:
· The Indoor Straight is one of three areas within the stadium ideal for staging exhibitions or large conferences. The facility can be divided into numerous areas making it a versatile and dynamic space for your event.
· The Don Valley Suite is a very versatile room equally suited to staging conferences and presentations or banquets and social functions. Located on the ground level of the stadium the Don Valley Suite also contains a fully licensed bar.
· Don Valley Stadium also offers excellent facilities for meetings. Located on the main VIP level are three dedicated meeting rooms; the Boardroom, the VIP Bar and the VIP Restaurant.These meeting rooms have maximum capacities ranging from 30-70 delegates.
· There are also hospitality boxes located on the upper grandstand level of the Stadium overlooking the stadium’s magnificent running track and athletics arena providing a superb backdrop to your meeting. Each box can be used as individual meeting rooms or as breakout space.
