Located at the heart of the city centre and hosts to over 500 events per year, Sheffield City Hall is ideally located and following a £12.5 million refurbishment in 2005, has re-established its position as the beating heart of Sheffield’s conferencing hub offering a unique, flexible environment and the very best standards of accessibility, comfort and service.
Sheffield City Hall's facilities include:
· The Irwin Mitchell Oval Hall is a large prestigious auditorium on three levels which can seat over 2000 delegates. The Oval Hall is ideal for medium and large conferences with additional exhibition and break out space if required.
· The Memorial Hall is a flexible and versatile room offering a demountable stage and flexible seating configuration allowing theatre or cabaret seating or is approx 245sqm as a clear area without seating or stage. It accommodates up to 500 guests and is suited to conferences, seminars and events requiring an intimate atmosphere.
· The Ballroom has a main central area of 475sqm (including the temporary stage) and two inter-connecting rooms, the North and South Halls on either side. The North Hall is the smaller of the two. The space is adaptable for large dances, banquets and exhibitions.
· Two dedicated meeting rooms accommodating 50 delegates theatre style or 24 boardroom style.
